Extreme have released a new video for Here’s To The Losers, the twelfth and final clip from their celebrated sixth studio album Six, out now via earMUSIC. Originally released in June 2023, Six has kept the Boston legends firmly in the spotlight, and the latest video ties a bow on the band’s ambitious plan to create a visual companion for every track.
Shot as a heartfelt thank you to the fans in time for Thanksgiving in the US, the Here’s To The Losers video sees each member of Extreme tipping their hat to the high schools that shaped them.
The song itself is dedicated to anyone who has ever hit the deck and still found the strength to get back up again. “Get up, you are not the only,” Gary Cherone sings. “Get up, you are one of the many. Chin up, there are no excuses, drink up, here’s to the losers.”
“It is as close to an anthem as Extreme have ever written,” Cherone says, “and the perfect closing statement for Six.”
Here’s To The Losers caps a huge campaign for the record, which has taken Extreme on a globe spanning tour across the US, Europe, the UK, India, Japan and Australia. Along the way, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt has continued to underline why he is regarded as one of rock’s most exciting players.
His appearance at Ozzy Osbourne’s Back To The Beginning farewell concert, where he tore through a fiery version of Black Sabbath’s Changes alongside Yungblud, Frank Bello and Adam Wakeman II, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance.
That milestone led to Nuno stepping into the role of music director and guitarist at the 2025 MTV VMAs, delivering another powerful tribute to Osbourne with Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Yungblud.
With the Six album cycle now complete on video, the band are already looking ahead to 2026, when they hit the road with Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe for a run of huge dates across Europe, the UK and North America.
