Don Airey Announces New Solo Album Pushed To The Edge

Keyboard maestro Don Airey has unveiled details of his upcoming solo album, Pushed To The Edge, set to release on 28 March 2025 via earMusic. The first single, Tell Me, is now available for streaming and as an instant gratification track for those who pre-order the album digitally.

With a career that spans contributions to over 300 albums, Airey’s masterful keyboard work has graced the music of legends like Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Judas Priest, and Deep Purple, where he has been a full-time member for over 20 years.

This new release continues his legacy of excellence in the Hard Rock realm, following Deep Purple’s chart-topping success last year with their album =1 and a triumphant global tour.

The album, a celebration of raw talent and pure musicianship, features a star-studded line-up. Vocal duties are shared between Carl Sentance (Nazareth) and Mitchell Emms (The Voice UK), with Deep Purple guitarist Simon McBride, drummer Jon Finnigan, and bassist Dave Marks rounding out the ensemble.

Produced in classic Hard Rock tradition, Pushed To The Edge eschews modern studio shortcuts, delivering an unfiltered sonic experience.

The album will be available in CD Digipak, black 180g double vinyl, and digital formats.
