Crystal Lake have shared their new single Neversleep, featuring guest vocals from Myke Terry. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album The Weight Of Sound, which will be released on 23 January 2026.
The song finds the Japanese Heavy Metal band pushing their sound with razor sharp riffs, breakdowns and an anthemic chorus built for the live stage. Neversleep hints at a record that will balance aggression with emotion, continuing Crystal Lake’s reputation as one of the most exciting forces in modern Metal.
“This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit,” Guitarist and founder YD said. “It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current Crystal Lake. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.”
Following the album release, Crystal Lake will be joining forces with American Metalcore band Miss May I for a co-headline tour during early spring 2026 in Europe and the UK. The tour will also feature Great American Ghost and Diesect as special guests.
With a total of twenty-one stops, the tour will cover The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, France, and the UK. Tickets are available from here.
The Weight Of Sound is due on 23 January 2026 and can be pre-ordered from here. Neversleep is available now on digital and streaming platforms.
