Symphonic Metal sensation Beyond The Black have unveiled the deeply emotional new single Ravens, taken from their forthcoming studio album Break The Silence. The record will be released on 9 January 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Focusing on unity, loyalty and resilience, Ravens is built around the idea of rising together through darkness, bound by shared spirit and a hunger for freedom, symbolised by ravens soaring high.
Both the song and its accompanying video feature guest appearances and contributions from Beyond The Black fans, underlining one of the album’s core themes: breaking down communication barriers and truly connecting people.
“Ravens is about belonging,” Jennifer Haben says. “About finding light in others when everything feels disconnected. Hearing our fans’ voices on this song made that message real in the most beautiful way. This song was created with our fans at its heart. A very special thank you to you, our Ravens, for being part of recording this song and bringing it to life with us.”
The band’s sixth full length, Break The Silence is a concept album rooted in melodic Metal with ethno influences. Lyrically it explores communication, inner strength, resilience and the urgent need to reconnect in a divided world. Songs such as Let There Be Rain, (La Vie Est Un) CinĂ©ma, Ravens and The Flood examine how words – and their absence – shape the reality we share.
It is a multi layered emotional journey that mirrors the complexities of modern life and invites fans to step into Beyond The Black’s next chapter.
Beyond The Black will support the release with the Rising High European headline tour in early 2026. The run begins in Manchester on 15 January and includes dates in London, Paris, Zurich, Munich, Budapest, Vienna, Geiselwind, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, Hanover, Warsaw, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, Antwerp, Oberhausen, Nijmegen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.
