Worcester Country Rockers Bootyard Bandits have released the side splitting, tongue in cheek single ‘Hobby Horse’, with a stunning Tex Willer comic style video, which you can watch below.
Crossing the boundary between Rock and Metal, their style is gritty guitar, heavy riffs with superbly satirical lyrics which make the ‘Cowboy Metallers’ quite unique in these days.
‘Hobby Horse’ is probably the heaviest song on their ‘The Very Best Of Bootyard Bandits’ E.P. which is available now.
The band told MetalTalk: “I think it’s clear to everyone by now that we’re a classy bunch of bandits. As such, we always like to travel in style.
“So, we felt it prudent to pen a song in celebration of the classiest mode of transport there is. I can tell ya, it’s a banger! We’re confident that the days of motorised vehicles are numbered. Hobby-horsing is the future!”
Having toured all over Europe with Pirate Metallers Alestorm, and toured the UK as guests of Massive Wagons, their energetic Wild West styled show is proving a hit with fans.
