Lawrence has been a musician for over 15 years, playing in several bands over this time period. From a teenager, he has been a huge fan of Metal and heavy rock. Going to see some of his favourite bands in the mid-2000s in and around London was one of his favourite hobbies.

Fast forward to about four years ago, another of Lawrence’s passions in life is now photography and naturally the world of live music has drawn him back into one of his favourite pastimes. But this time, he gets to photograph the bands he goes to see!

For the last three years, Lawrence has been part of the MetalTalk team, among several other webzines, photographing and reviewing a plethora of bands from the likes of Blink 182, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine and Lamb Of God, to name just a few.
