Angel / Legendary rockers revealing return Once Upon A Time

Angel, the legendary rock band who formed in the mid-’70s, returns with a powerful melodic new album, Once Upon A Time, set for release on 21 April 2023 via Cleopatra Records. Angel are also working on a new documentary film with DEKO Entertainment.

The album features 11 brand new songs, plus three bonus tracks on the CD version, all written by Punky Meadows, Frank Dimino, and Danny Farrow. The first single, It’s Alright, can be heard below.

Angel were discovered by Kiss bass player Gene Simmons performing at a nightclub and would be signed to the same record label as Kiss. Their style, dressing in all white, was a deliberate contrast to Kiss.

“We are super excited by the release of the new album,” guitarist and founding member Punky Meadows said. “We had a blast recording it, and the band is cookin’! It has everything Angel fans expect – epic songs, power pop, heavy rock n’ roll, and it’s also deep with lots of surprises. Can’t wait for our fans to lay their ears on it.”

The band have also announced their US Tour, with dates kicking off on 3 March at The Cutting Room in NYC. Many shows have been announced, and more will be added. “We can’t wait to get back on the road and rock with all the fans,” vocalist Frank Dimino says. “And I am really excited about the new album release, can’t wait for you all to hear it.”

Tour dates are listed below, so grab your tickets and meet-and-greet passes, as some shows have already sold out.
