The godfathers of Shock Rock are back. The original Alice Cooper band—Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce—have officially announced a landmark reunion event at London’s Union Chapel on Wednesday, July 24, 2025, just one day before the release of their first studio album in over half a century: The Revenge of Alice Cooper.
Presented by earMUSIC and Rough Trade, this exclusive gathering will be hosted by the legendary Sir Tim Rice. Only 900 lucky attendees will experience this in-person event, which includes:
- A full album listening session
- A deep-dive interview with the band
- A fan Q&A moderated by Rice himself
Fans not able to snag tickets need not despair—the event will be globally live-streamed on the official Alice Cooper and earMUSIC YouTube channels as well as on TalkShopLive, ensuring no one misses out on this rare piece of Heavy Metal history.
Tickets go live on June 11 at 10:00 am BST via Rough Trade’s website. Both general admission and bundle packages—including the new album and a commemorative print—will be available.
Alice Cooper – A Resurrection 50 Years in the Making
Dropping July 25, The Revenge of Alice Cooper is a rebirth. Produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin, the album features the unmistakable fingerprints of the early ’70s Alice Cooper sound of razor-sharp riffs, horror-laced theatrics, and snarling social commentary.
The album includes a posthumous guitar feature by Glen Buxton and a guest solo from Robby Krieger of The Doors on the first single, Black Mamba, released on June 4.
A second single has been released. Wild Ones is inspired by the iconic 1953 film The Wild One starring Marlon Brando. The track captures the same defiant spirit that once shocked middle America and defined a generation.
The tracklist promises 14 songs across two LPs, plus bonus tracks exclusive to the limited box set release.
Back in the early 1970s, the original Alice Cooper band revolutionized rock music with a chaotic mix of hard rock, glam excess, and gothic theatre. With albums like Love It To Death and Billion Dollar Babies, they rewrote the rules.
Now, 50 years after they first shocked the world, the original lineup is reclaiming their legacy, offering fans both old and new a chance to witness the rebirth of a genre they helped forge.
From guillotines to guitars, snakes to stagecraft, the Alice Cooper band remains as vital and terrifyingly entertaining as ever. This will be a night of Heavy Metal resurrection.
