Airbourne return for the second time in a row for Hellfest 2022. After closing down the main stage last week, this time, the hard-rocking Aussies are playing to an absolutely packed crowd in the afternoon sun.

After a blistering Rady To Rock, the band waste no time and bust into Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast, as an almost never-ending stream of crowd surfers fly by overhead.
The energy levels, especially this late in a ten-day festival, are unbelievable, and frontman Joel O’Keeffe is leading the way, running from stage to barricade and back again while thrashing his Gibson Explorer for all it’s worth.
“How are we doing, Hellfest? Anyone thirsty?” Joel proceeds to bring out the Motörhead mini bar and make JD and Cokes before toasting the legacy and memory of the Motörhead frontman.
Airbourne have grown to be one of the best, and certainly the most energetic, hard rock bands touring today, and it’s wonderful to see them finally come into their own in front of such a massive crowd.
The encore begins with Joel hurling beers into the crowd for a good five minutes before the band finishes with Running Wild and the roaring riff attack of the hellraisers is complete.
