EXCLUSIVE: KRUSHER AGREES TO REFEREE STEEL PANTHER v DRAGONFORCE HEAVY METAL SUPERFIGHT

This is the one the fans want and this morning it has moved a step closer to actually happening. Two weekends ago on Wackens Main Stage, Steel Panther said something very bad about Dragonforce and you can see what it was right here.

So at Bloodstock this weekend we asked Dragonforce singer Marc Hudson whether he thinks DF guitar wizard Herman Li could beat Steel Panther singer Michael Starr in a fight? Marc asked whether Starr was tough and when we informed him that he is a pussy, Marc replied: “Of course. Herman does Jujutsu.”

So with the clamour growing from fans both sides of the Atlantic for Dragonforce to give Steel Panther a straightener, Krusher Joule has agreed, at our suggestion, to referee this hopefully forthcoming superbout.

We asked Krusher what his fighting credentials are?: “My fighting credentials are that I used to drink in The Thomas A Becket pub in the Old Kent Road, Sir ‘Enry Cooper’s old gym, where he trained six days a week for 14 years from 1956 and also the place where Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali all sparred when preparing for fights in the UK and on a musical note, where David Bowie rehearsed the 1972 album ‘Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars’.

“I once knocked over Billy Perch in the school playground when I was five and I beat James Hetfield in a wrestling match in Southwark Park, although there are vicious rumours it ended in a draw.”

We’re waiting to hear back from Steel Panther amid rumours that they have gone into hiding, in fear of Sam Totmans deadly right hook. We’ll let you know when they do respond and when that happens, we’ll be another step closer to getting this on.

Meanwhile, Krusher has already got to work drawing up the rules for the Heavy Metal Superfight and has gone into strict training for what is bound to be a bruising encounter.

So far he has managed twenty-six arm curls with a bottle of Scotch in each hand.
