Ward XVI Smash Crowd Fund Target In Two Hours

Ward XVI have built their reputation with two great albums and some inventive theatrical performances, particularly when they were able to present the acclaimed Metamorphosis album live with a full production that sees props, mannequins and monsters aplenty.

With plans underway to make the final instalment of Psychoberrie’s trilogy of concept albums, a crowdfunding campaign smashed their initial target in two hours and two days later, the amount pledged stands at over ÂŁ10,500, making them two-thirds of the way to a new stretch target.

“Although we have many running costs to maintain Ward XVI as a functioning band (rehearsal room rent, travel, costumes etc) The inmates of Ward XVI never take a penny from any income the band makes,” the band say in the campaign notes.

“It ALWAYS goes straight back into the band kitty, so with any extra funds raised through this, we will invest it straight back into the promotion of the new album be-it with our music videos, press promotion and towards the design, dressing and build of a bigger.. badder.. bloodier stage show..one of which you’d never have seen before.

“We want this album to reach as far as possible and be of the highest quality, and with your help we think that we can do it.”

The funding will allow WARD XVI to afford the costs of the recording, the production process, music videos and also the building and preparation of a whole new stage show.

With 32 days left, you can still join the campaign by visiting Crowdfunder.
