Stone Broken’s 2022 Revelation Tour will feature Mason Hill as special guests on all shows except Glasgow, with The Fallen State also performing. Phil X And The Drills have withdrawn, citing “the covid situation being what it is.”
“Well, it’s been a crazy 18 months, and COVID-19 has a lot to answer for,” Stone Broken frontman Rich Moss told MetalTalk. “Although not as bad as it once was, it is still having an impact on what we do, and unfortunately, this has meant that Phil X And The Drills have had to pull out of the upcoming Revelation tour.
“It’s not all doom and gloom, though, because our good friends in Mason Hill are now joining us, along with The Fallen State, to complete the line-up.
“Plans are coming together to make this our biggest and best tour yet.”
“We’re buzzing to be joining Stone Broken on their biggest UK tour to date,” Mason Hill lead singer Scott Taylor said. “We go back years with them, so it’s extra special for us to join the Revelation tour, adding to an experience that’s no doubt going to be an insane kick-ass rockfest. It’ll be unmissable.”
“To all Drills fans and our pals Stone Broken,” Phil X said, “we were all set and very excited to come back to the UK for our support role for the January/ February 2022 tour.
“Alas, with the covid situation being what it is, we’ve decided we will not be ready to cross the pond at that time. Seeing first-hand the cancellation of early 2022 runs with other bands and global trade shows such as NAMM being postponed from January until the spring supports our mindset.
“Thank you for understanding, and we hope to see you later in 2022. Stay safe & healthy.”
Stone Broken will release their new studio album in 2022.
