Myles Kennedy has released The Art of Letting Go his third solo album, showcasing his evolution as a musician. Unlike his previous works, this album dives deep into his rock roots, featuring raw, powerful riffs.
Kennedy shares insights into his creative process, the personal themes of the record, and his journey toward embracing clarity and authenticity in music. He discusses the challenges of balancing fame with personal fulfilment and the importance of standing up for oneself.
“This record is more of a collection of songs,” Kennedy says. “Though there is a theme in the last song, which was inspired by a film that’s very cool and very dark called Speak No Evil. We saw the original somewhere over in Europe, and what I love about the movie is that there is a moral to the story that really speaks to me, which manifests itself in that song.”
The album highlights Kennedy’s versatility and mastery as a solo artist.
