Papa Roach have unveiled the official music video for their latest single Wake Up Calling, marking another major moment in the band’s ongoing Rise Of The Roach era.
The track has already achieved significant success, becoming the band’s 15th career #1 at Rock Radio in the United States and simultaneously hitting #1 in Germany. The video, directed by Hannah Gray Hall, brings the emotional weight of the song to life with a powerful visual narrative.
“I have grown up listening to Papa Roach,” Director Hannah Gray Hall said, “and a beautiful thing about the band is you have people who have been with them for 25 years, and new fans finding them now. Their music is inherited. This song really spoke to me emotionally, and I am stoked to have the opportunity to make an accompanying piece for it.”
To celebrate the release, Papa Roach hosted an exclusive digital fan event, giving selected fans early access to the video alongside the band. The event featured an extended discussion covering touring, new music, and the creation of the video, as well as a live fan Q&A session.
Frontman Jacoby Shaddix describes Wake Up Calling as a deeply personal track about standing on the edge of disaster and choosing a different path. “It’s one of the most raw, emotional songs we’ve written in this new era,” he says. The song captures themes of resilience, emotional struggle and ultimately choosing connection over self-destruction.
Produced by Colin Brittain, the track is the third single from the band’s forthcoming album, following their 2022 release Ego Trip.
Papa Roach will also bring their live show to the UK and Ireland in November 2026 as part of the Rise Of The Roach tour, with arena dates confirmed in Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Cardiff.
Continuing to evolve while staying true to their roots, Papa Roach remain one of the most enduring forces in Heavy Metal and Alternative Rock.
