Motörhead / Donington 2008 Included In The Löst Tapes Update

The Motörhead performance at Donington in 2008 is included in The Löst Tapes collection, which is set for release on 23 February 2024 in an expanded format.

This unique collection of live gems was obtained via carefully digitized transfers from cassettes. Old-school sound systems contained cassette decks for the express purpose of recording shows, and this was often a standard part of every tour.

Cassettes with the likes of Malmö, Madrid, Heilbronn and Norwich scrawled in biro on the tiny labels alongside a date have sat in a small cave Lemmy owned.

Donington saw Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell, and Mikkey Dee hit the main stage on Friday, 13 June 2008, before Judas Priest and Kiss. This show stands as a testament to their unwavering legacy in the realm of Heavy Metal.
