Kris Barras Band / Who Needs Enemies released as four support slots offered

Kris Barras Band have released the video for Who Needs Enemies, taken from their new album Death Valley Paradise due 4 March 2022. Kris Barras is offering four opening slots on his biggest UK tour to date.

The film for Who Needs Enemies was recorded at their Royal Albert Hall gig. “Performing at the Royal Albert Hall was a dream come true,” Barras says. “It was such a surreal experience to be standing on that stage, where so many legends have stood before us.”

Who Needs Enemies was one of the first tracks written for the album. “It was originally called Friends Like Enemies,” Barras says. “I probably re-wrote it four or five times before settling on the final version, after working on it with a songwriter friend based in Nashville, Blair Daly. It’s basically a song about betrayal, a friend that has stabbed you in the back. The main tag line being ‘Who needs enemies, with friends like you’.”

Kris has four dates on his Death Valley Paradise tour, where he is inviting local bands to open for him and Florence Black. The dates are in Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle and London.

Kris will choose the winning acts. Visit www.krisbarrasband.com/apply for more details. Applications close at Midnight on 27 February.
