Hillbilly Vegas Rockin’ Across The Pond Again In 2024

Fresh from dates in the US with Ted Nugent, Hillbilly Vegas told us they will cross over the pond again in the new year for shows with Thunder’s Luke Morley and follow this with some headline UK shows.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our live show to the UK,” a buzzing Steve Harris of Hillbilly Vegas told us. “The fan response since the release of The Great Southern Hustle has been overwhelming. Firstly, to be asked to support the great Luke Morley that’s a dream gig.

“Secondly, being a part of Planet Rock Winter’s End is another dream gig. And then our own headline dates? Well, that’s just a lot of checks off the old bucket list for a bunch of guys from Oklahoma.”

In November 2022, for a one-night and one-night-only stint, the Hillbilly guys flew over the pond to promote their upcoming album, The Great Southern Hustle, after their much-acclaimed EP dropped earlier that year. You can read about their two performances here and here.

“From the moment we stepped off the plane the last time we were in the UK, we felt like we were at home,” Harris said this week. “We met so many great people and made so many friends. It’s just such a thrill to be able to come back with the full band and bring our live show to maybe the best music fans in the world.”

The band play six dates with Luke Morley, who is supporting his new solo album Songs From The Blue Room. Then, following Winter’s End, they have five headline dates in February.

“We are such huge fans of Thunder,” Harris says. “We can’t tell you how exciting it is for us to support Luke on his first solo dates. It’s a great album, and he’s such a great songwriter and player.

“It’s such an honour, and honestly, one of the best parts of being a support act is having the best seats in the house nightly. We will be there every minute possible watching Luke and his band work.”
