Hellfest 2022 returns with a marathon double edition featuring 350 artists on six stages over an extended weekend. It seems like the entire Heavy Metal world will descend on the French village of Clisson, with its historic ruins and picturesque river, for what must be the Metal event of the decade.

Even though it was Thursday night, the festival was packed with excited fans getting their passes, setting up tents and pouring over the incredible selection of rock and Metal memorabilia at the Extreme Market.
With temperatures set to hit 38°C this afternoon, it’s going to be a hot one by the time Opeth, Mastodon and The Offspring take the main stage.
