It’s been 13 years since their debut and Halestorm are currently on tour promoting their new studio album, Back From The Dead, an 11-song, riff-loaded monster.
The rise of the band may have been interrupted by Covid-19, but earlier in the year we described Lzzy Hale and her bandmates as what modern rock stars look like.

Tonight’s show included The Pretty Reckless, The Warning, and Lilith Czar as support and you can read our report here.
The lights went down in Baltimore, and the band stood backlit at the top of the drum riser. Slowly the music rose and Halestorm hit the stage with the title track to their latest album, Back From the Dead.
Arejay, behind his drum kit perched atop the multi-level riser, propelled the band throughout the night with his mighty beats.

Playing eight songs from their fifth and latest release Back From the Dead, along with favourites like Love Bites (So Do I), Mz Hyde and I Miss The Misery, Lzzy and the boys were definitely there to rock.

A highlight of the set was a song from the new release, the ballad Raise Your Horns, in which Lzzy encouraged the crowd to never be ashamed of what and who they are, to never let others tell them how to live their lives and to raise their horns for all to see.
Halestorm finished the night with the encore a trio of songs – Here’s To Us, Freak Like Me and Joe and Lzzy absolutely shredded, trading licks on the new track The Steeple, a #1 hit for the band.

It may have taken twenty years to get there, but Halestorms time is now. The arenas of the world are ready and waiting to be conquered. Raise your horns indeed!
