Special guests Swerve Strickland and Flash Garments performed their first concert as a rap duo in the UK. Seeing two rap artists opening up for a rock band was a first for me and, as it turned out, quite an experience.
Professional wrestler Swerve Strickland, wearing his championship belt, took to the stage for a live music performance that showcased a different side of his talents. This gig was highly anticipated by both wrestling fans and music enthusiasts, who were curious to see how Strickland would translate his larger-than-life persona into a live music setting.
The crowd, a mix of wrestling fans and music lovers, was buzzing with excitement. Strickland and Flash Garments were both greeted with enthusiastic cheers. They delivered a set that blended elements of hip-hop, R&B, and rap music and got the audience all ready for the main act.
Fozzy
By the time Fozzy stormed the stage, the crowd was buzzing. Celebrating 25 years with a sold-out show in London is an incredible achievement.
The venue was packed with die-hard fans, showing their dedication to the band by sporting Fozzy merchandise and singing along to every song. Frontman Jericho’s charisma and stage presence were undeniable; he effortlessly commanded the audience’s attention with his infectious energy.
Surrounding yourself with talented musicians – guitarists Rich Ward (‘The Duke’) & Billy Grey, bassist PJ Farley and drummer Grant Brooks – can only lead to success. They are all a joy to photograph with their energy.
They commanded the stage from beginning to end.
The biggest surprise of the night was when Swerve Strickland returned for the encore and performed Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name with Jericho, something you don’t see very often. The crowd was unsurprisingly enjoying this gem.
This was a very special night for both the band and the audience, and Jericho frequently thanked the fans for their ongoing support over the past 25 years, something he doesn’t take for granted.
Dreams can come true if you work hard and believe in yourself.
