With those within the music industry, along with friends and fans, shocked and saddened by the untimely death of legendary drummer Robin Guy, it has been announced that a benefit gig will take place in Robin’s honour.
The highly regarded drummer, who worked with numerous bands including Sack Trick, Rachel Stamp, Sham 69, Faith No More, Eric Faulkner’s Bay City Rollers and Bruce Dickinson, tragically passed away on September 8 at the age of 54 after battling cancer.
The event, which will take place on November 16, 2024, from 5 pm, will be hosted by Monsta Event’s Mick Wood. There will also be a short auction and a raffle, with all of the proceeds going to Guy’s wife, Jessica.
An afterparty event has also been arranged at the nearby Devonshire Arms.
