Creeper have announced the SANGUI-TOUR in April, an extensive run of intimate shows in which they will perform songs from both critically adored Sanguivore albums.
 
The Sanguivore era has seen Creeper once again reinvent themselves, this time with a dark, devilish decadence that recalls the excess of ’80s arena rock, the blackest heart of goth and a lightning strike of theatrical flamboyance. The original Sanguivore album captured the bloodsucking story of star-crossed vampiric lovers Spook and Mercy.

Sanguivore Ii: Mistress Of Death then cast Creeper as ’80s rock icons, their larger-than-life shows coinciding with a mysterious trail of the dead.

Both records are packed start-to-finish with highlights, from soaring anthems Cry To Heaven, Headstones and Blood Magick (It’s A Ritual) through to the epic Further Than Forever. The tour will also see them play fan favourite Razor Wire for the first time: a feast of sax, sleaze and sensuality.

“For the first time ever, Creeper will be exclusively performing songs from Sanguivore 1 and 2,” William von Ghould said. “The shows will provide a rare opportunity for fans to see the band in incredibly intimate venues and in cities they rarely get to visit.”
