Creeper Present Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death The New Album

Creeper have announced the release of their blood-soaked sequel album Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death for 31 October 2025 through Spinefarm. A 1980s vampire tale of Satanic Panic, this follows on from the previous album in 2023, Sanguivore.

The fourth album in the band’s arsenal is a 1980s rock concept, following a fictional vampire band on tour across America. This expands on the world introduced in Sanguivore and takes ’80s America and the era of Satanic Panic as its narrative backdrop. Here, the band are being hunted by a new force, the titular Mistress of Death, set on a path to end the vampire bloodline for good.

“Beneath the flashing neon of a distant dream, a rock and roll nightmare is coming true”, William Von Ghould explains. “A vampire band rampages across 1980s America, leaving only corpses behind.”

In May at the Creepers KoKo show, the band revealed their intentions of a sequel album with an eerie video presented by The Mistress Of Death herself live on stage, at the end of the gig.

The official album release date was declared in August with the revelation of slamming single, Blood Magick (It’s A Ritual). A delectable gothic follow-up from the album teaser track and punk powerhouse, Headstones, released in June.

Headstones is “set in a blood-drenched vision of the 1980s,” William Von Ghould said. “It follows a vampire rock band on a tour soaked in violence and excess. It features some of our heaviest and most theatrical guitar work yet, echoing Iron Maiden, with Lawrie Pattison and Ian Miles trading solos in the bridge. It’s also the fastest single we’ve released in years.

“Lyrically, it sets the stage for what’s to come in the album’s narrative, exploring the dark perils of rock ‘n’ roll, sins of the flesh, and pure evil. This is the band at its most over-the-top and unashamedly dramatic. But as our hero Jim Steinman once said, ‘Sometimes going all the way is just the start.'”

This new album brings more theatrical spectacle and ’80s synth than ever.

This past Friday, Creeper dropped the third track to be released from the album Prey For The Night, bringing everything you would expect from the band, including soaring, theatrical and anthemic gothic vocals and riffs. You can listen to Prey For The Night here.

Continuing with the October takeover, the gothic giants will be at London’s MCM Comic Con on 25 October 2025, less than a week before the full record arrives.

Appearing at the ExCel, Darcia, The Vampire Familiar and Creepers mascot, will host a live panel discussing Sanguivore II, with the band in attendance for a meet-and-greet signing.

If this was not enough vampire lust already, Creeper have now announced a pre-Halloween homecoming in the form of an album release show, set to take place in Southampton.

Creeper say they are so excited to finally return to their hometown and perform for the first time in years. A strict vampire dress code has been mentioned. Tickets for the show at the Engine Rooms are available from here.

They tour the UK as special guest to Ice Nine Kills in December. Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death can be pre-ordered from CreeperCult.com
