Bloodstock’s 25th anniversary celebrations bring charity challenges, major prize draws, a custom gaming PC, expanded gaming facilities and the first details of Bloodstock 2027.
Heavy Metal Truants: The Ed To Ed Challenge
As the Heavy Metal Truants ride to Catton Park, festivalgoers can join the fundraising effort at the HMT tent in the main arena. Participants use a static bike to generate enough electricity to boil water, with children racing to 5 miles and adults to 10. A hand crank is also available.
Entry costs £5 for charity. Every participant receives an HMT sticker, the fastest rider in each pairing wins an HMT pin badge, hourly leaderboard winners receive five raffle entries, and the fastest time of the weekend earns 50 entries.

The HMT charity raffle includes:

- A signed Dixxon T-shirt
- A Killers Eddie diorama
- A Dave Murray 50th Anniversary Fender guitar signed by Iron Maiden
- The Wristbands Of Destiny – two Bloodstock VIP weekend tickets for each of the next 10 years
The Dave Murray guitar will be displayed in the RAM Gallery throughout the weekend. Raffle entries cost £5 for one, £20 for five, £35 for 10, £65 for 25 or £100 for 50. Entries can be purchased online or from HMT volunteers at the festival. Winners will be drawn live at 7pm on Sunday 9 August.

Scan is also offering a guitar package worth more than £2,000. The prize includes a Legator Ghost Super Shred seven-string guitar, an IK Multimedia TONEX pedal and Royal 45 Legends collection, a year’s supply of Ernie Ball strings and a range of Ernie Ball accessories. Entry is through Scan’s Pro Audio mailing list and closes at noon on Monday 10 August. The competition is open to UK entrants only.
Bloodstock Stage Times And 2027 Tickets
Stage times and the festival map are available through the official Bloodstock app and can be viewed without an internet connection once downloaded.
Bloodstock 2027 will take place from 5-8 August 2027. The first 27 bands will be announced at the Ronnie James Dio stage on Friday evening after Municipal Waste.
Early-bird standard weekend tickets will be sold at the festival entrance box office for £210 with no booking fee. After those tickets sell out, the price rises to £235 plus booking fee, with general sales opening at 9am on Monday 10 August. VIP and campervan tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 12 August.
Bloodstock 2026 takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire, from 6-9 August 2026. Headliners include Lamb Of God, Slaughter To Prevail, Judas Priest and Saxon, with Cryptopsy, Wednesday 13, Leprous and Carpenter Brut topping the Sophie Lancaster Stage.
