After a musical rebirth, Black Eyed Sons brought the power of the electric guitar and no little amount of swagger to their first show at The Lexington, London, last December. Now, as the nights grow shorter, two festival dates provide the warm-up for an eight-date UK Tour.
The Cowboys in Pinstriped Suits Tour Part 1 will kick off with two sold-out nights at Hard Rock Hell before rolling into venues across the country. Joining the Black Eyed Sons on select dates will be Revenant, while the London Camden Underworld show will feature special guests The Dirty Strangers.
“We can’t wait to hit the stage live again,” says Guy Griffin, “and it’ll be great to be able to play fresh new material, plus some tracks not heard live before. I think people are going to be surprised. Looking forward to having Revenant, a great up-and-coming act, along for some shows and our old friends The Dirty Strangers in London.”
MetalTalk described The Lexington show as a “party, pure and simple, as everyone wets the head of this new addition to the scene. These Black Eyed Sons are a very welcome presence in times when the world is much in need of escapism and a damn good dance.”
A triumphant night with smiles all round. Pure rock ‘n’ roll. No drama. All fun.
This sentiment is sure to run through this autumn’s fun. Tour tickets are available from BlackEyedSons.com.
