Robert has been writing about music for over thirty years. Starting with Glasgow-based M8 magazine back in his native Scotland, he then moved down to London and worked as a music PR with the late Roland Hyams at Rock Hard PR.


With Roland, he worked with artists such as Bruce Dickinson, The Almighty, Helloween, W.A.S.P, Big Country, and The Stranglers.

Robert wrote for Rock Sound magazine for a few years before joining the MetalTalk team around seven years ago.
