Paul's first three gigs were when he was 12. Saxon, Thin Lizzy and UFO made him a Metal Head for life. He has written for over a decade for numerous sites, including Moshville Times, Powerplay Magazine and The Razors Edge.


Paul now reviews, interviews and photographs for MetalTalk, with occasional work for other sites. He is part of The Miserable Metal Mind Podcast and in-house tog at The Patriot – The Home Of Rock, Crumlin, South Wales, as well as the main photographer for Cross Border Music Group.

He often says his favourite band is Rush, followed by Opeth and Motörhead.
