Dany Jones is a singer, musician, published recording artist, Stage and Tour Manager, Promoter, PR and published journalist. Dany Jones was born and raised to classical and symphonic music. Soon enough, she discovered Pink Floyd and Robert Smith and found solace and utter fascination in all things dark.

Fronting cover bands from a very young age, her thirst for knowledge and experimentation had her learn music theory, study business management, attend music industry forums and have a stint at several instruments. It was eventually the bass guitar that became her home while cultivating a true passion for ‘riffology’ as well as "This business of Music."

When her former lover instigated the AC/DC vs Metallica debate, all doubts were unshadowed that Heavy Metal would always win. As a singer and bassist, Jones has performed and toured internationally with several bands, including Bitchslap, Black Sixteen, The Kut, Kopperhed, Alexa de Strange, and The Heretic Order. She has supported artists of the likes of Hatebreed, Nicke Borg of Backyard Babies, Soulfly, SOIL and Paradise Lost. She also sang and recorded backing vocals for several artists, including Cherie Currie of the Runaways and Suzi Quatro, and appeared on the Suzi Quatro biopic.

As a Music business executive, she has been part of the A&R street team at Road Runner Records. She has worked as a Touring Event Manager at VIP Nation, coordinating tour packages for Iron Maiden, Maroon 5, 5 Seconds of Summer, Blink 182 and The Chicks, and has been in-house Rep at a London venue for the good part of 15 years.

Jones also specialises in Touring Merchandising, has managed artists, and has been the UK booking agent for Marco Mendoza. "Living and breathing music is what makes me feel alive and what gives me the biggest smile," she says. "Literally nothing else compares."

Dany Jones has been part of the MetalTalk family since 2018, with numerous published reviews and episodes of MTTV under her belt. She is also the official reviewer at Hellfest Open Air and Welcome to Rockville, USA.

"The highlight of my journalistic career has to be being granted exclusive live interviews backstage at the O2 Arena in London, with the formidable trio Wolfgang Van Halen (Mammoth WVH), Scott Phillips (Alter Bridge) and AreJay Hale (Halestorm)."
