Ben Roberts is not your average Heavy Metal fan. Raised in the Brentford rock-belt, music was part of his upbringing from an early age, with Faith No More and Alter Bridge forming the backbone of his childhood soundtrack. One of his fondest memories is being in the car at night, half asleep, listening to Zombie Eaters.

A love of words naturally grew alongside a love of music, shaped by the songwriting and voices of artists such as Chris Cornell and Bob Dylan. That passion has since carried into his writing, leading him to interview work with Jerry Cantrell and Skindred's Benji Webb, and to the hallowed ground of MetalTalk.
