Blackpool trio Apriori are preparing to release their new single Love Tonight, the first track from their forthcoming album Bad To The Bone. This new single will be out on 9 October 2026, with the highly anticipated album set to follow in early summer 2027.
Apriori feature vocalist and guitarist Tony Lang, Mouse Lang on drums and Mark Wilson on keyboards. Together, they have carved out a sound that is melodic, punchy and designed for the live stage.
Love Tonight delivers the band’s signature rock energy with a fresh sense of urgency, attitude and ambition. Built around powerful guitars and an instantly memorable vocal hook, the track captures the toxic thrill that love can bring to a relationship.
“Love Tonight is about the darker side of devotion, the kind of love that consumes every part of you,” Apriori say. “Giving in to something so powerful that you’d willingly dance with the flames of hell or walk through purgatory just to hold onto it. Love becomes more than an emotion. It becomes an obsession, blurring the line between paradise and damnation.”
The single is the first glimpse of an album that promises to showcase Apriori at their most confident, with further music and announcements expected ahead of its summer 2027 release. “Bad To The Bone is a perfect example of where we are as a band right now,” the band told MetalTalk. “The album came together through a lot of different experiences, emotions and ideas that have been carefully injected into what has become a monolith of an album.
“The album explores everything from the highs of love to the darker, more obsessive sides of it. We didn’t want to put ourselves in a box, so we wrote every song with its own identity, allowing people to find their own meaning in it.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve created and excited to finally start sharing it. We’ll also be bringing some of the new songs into our upcoming live show at Waterloo Music Bar, Blackpool, on 19 September 2026 as part of a special VIP experience.”
Tickets for Apriori’s Blackpool headline show are available now. The band also headline the Rockmantic Festival, Grimsby, on 14 November 2026.
