Fresh from the success of his Frank Sinatra project, Mark Tremonti will be back crooning on a new seasonal album, Christmas Classics New & Old. Set for release on 27 October 2023, the album also includes one Tremonti-penned tune, which Mark promises will “put a smile on your face, make you feel good, and get you into the Christmas spirit.”
Tremonti has reunited with the orchestra from his Frank Sinatra project, the recording of which Mark described to MetalTalk as “one of the best moments of my career.”
From the opening bars of the first track, The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, you will surely get in the holiday mood. Those who were at the O2 Indigo show in London in December 2022 will have already experienced Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, The First Noel and O Holy Night.
Mark says one of his favourites is O Holy Night, a song which can be traced back to a French-language poem by Placide Cappeau, written in 1843. An inspired arrangement by producer Carey Deadman has breathed new life into this classic.
Christmas Morning is the original composition. Opening with light piano, a marching band drum roll picks up the momentum, and the song builds to a horn-led finale where Mark sings, “My lady and me will make sure our children believe in the glory of Christmas morning.”

Again, 100% of the album proceeds will be given to the National Down Syndrome Society [NDSS] as part of the Take A Chance For Charity Organization. Mark and his family were honoured at the NDSS Annual Gala and Auction in 2023.
