Winery Dogs / Mike Portnoy, Richie Kotzen and Billy Sheehan tour in 202III

Following a seven years break, The Winery Dogs will release their third album, III, on 3 February 2023 on the band’s own Three Dog Music label (via Burnside Distribution/The Orchard). Mike Portnoy, Richie Kotzen and Billy Sheehan will also embark on a World Tour in 2023.

The band will hit the concert road in 2023 with dates in North and South America before hitting Europe in June. Ticket and VIP package details can be found on the band website.

The lead single, Xanadu, is available to hear now. “Coming out of the gates, that’s a barnburner,” said Mike Portnoy. “It’s one of the fiercest tracks on the album.”

Those with eagle ears will also delight in picking up on how definitively Portnoy drops his drumsticks right as the song concludes. “At the end there, you’re hearing me toss my sticks,” he says, laughing. “Not in frustration, but very much in satisfaction of what we had just done.”
