Wig Wam Rocks The Tally Ho – A Night Of Unforgettable Hard Rock Anthems

Wig Wam is a Norwegian hard rock band that has been active since 2001, known for their energetic live shows and catchy songs. Recently, I had the chance to see them perform live at a concert at the Tally Ho Theater in Leesburg, Va, and it was an unforgettable experience.

From the moment they took the stage, Wig Wam had the audience on their feet and cheering. The band’s frontman, Glam, is an incredibly charismatic performer with a commanding stage presence and a powerful voice that filled the venue. Glam had the crowd in the palm of his hand, leading them in sing-alongs and getting them to dance along to the band’s infectious rock anthems.

The rest of the band was equally impressive. Guitarist Teeny is a virtuoso, shredding his instrument with ease and pulling off jaw-dropping solos that left the audience in awe. Bassist Flash and drummer Sporty provided a rock-solid rhythm section, keeping the energy level high and driving the songs forward.

The band’s signature sound is a mix of classic rock influences with a modern twist, featuring soaring guitar riffs, pounding drums, and powerful vocals. Their 19-song set list included fan favourites like In My Dreams, Hard To Be A Rock ‘n’ Roller, and Gonna Get You Someday, as well as some newer material from their two most recent albums, Never Say Die and 2023’s Out Of The Dark.

Throughout the concert, Wig Wam kept the energy level high, and the crowd engaged. Their songs perfectly blend classic rock influences and modern sensibilities with catchy hooks and memorable choruses that had the audience singing and dancing along. The band’s chemistry was undeniable, and it was clear that they were having a blast onstage.

The highlight of the concert was when the band closed the evening with one of their biggest hits, Do Ya Wanna Taste It, the song used in the opening credits of The Peacemaker series starring former wrestler John Cena.

The crowd went wild, singing along at the top of their lungs and waving their hands in the air. It was a truly magical moment, and it was clear that the band was having just as much fun as the audience.

Wig Wam put on an incredible show that was both entertaining and unforgettable. Their music is the perfect antidote to a dull day, and seeing them perform live is an experience that I highly recommend to anyone who loves rock music.

If you have the chance to see them in concert, don’t hesitate – you won’t regret it!
