UUHAI Release New Single Secret History Of The Mongols Ahead Of Debut Album Human Herds

Fast-rising Mongolian rockers UUHAI have released their third single, Secret History Of The Mongols, alongside an official music video, offering another taste of their upcoming debut album Human Herds. The album lands this Friday, 9 January 2026 via Napalm Records.

Named after the oldest surviving literary work in the Mongolic language (dating back to the late 1220s and recounting the life and conquest of Genghis Khan), Secret History Of The Mongols leans into UUHAI’s signature collision of traditional instrumentation and modern Heavy rock. Expect an emotive guitar solo, dramatic atmosphere, and the band’s goosebump-inducing “uuhai” chants – an ancient battle cry for good fortune.

UUHAI On Secret History Of The Mongols

“This history is a sacred flame, consecrated by Father Heaven and Mother Earth. It is the undaunted gallop of ambition, the wisdom of our ancestors, and the everlasting scripture of the Mongol people.”

Human Herds – Out January 9, 2026

Blending throat singing and horsehead fiddles with Heavy music, UUHAI’s debut album draws on Mongolia’s imposing history and awe-inspiring landscapes, while reflecting on modern society. Per the band, Human Herds is both a love letter to their homeland and a wider statement about our shared responsibility to the planet.

UUHAI step into the role of perceptive storytellers, guiding listeners through the spirit and soundscape of the Far East in Human Herds.
