LOR Productions have announced The Dedication, a one-night-only celebration of Thin Lizzy legend Philip Lynott at Dublin’s 3Arena on 4 January 2026. Staged to mark the 40th anniversary of Philip Lynott’s passing, the show will bring together an electrifying line-up of former Thin Lizzy members and special guests for a night that promises to be essential for every Heavy Metal and classic rock fan.

The evening kicks off with Lawrence Archer and Grand Slam delivering a high-energy opening set. An all-star supergroup then takes over, featuring Ricky Warwick (The Black Star Riders / The Almighty / Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Dead Daisies / Whitesnake / Thin Lizzy) and Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses).
Following a special tribute video, the acclaimed 45-piece RTÉ Concert Orchestra will perform timeless Thin Lizzy classics with a rich symphonic twist. The night will also spotlight exceptional Irish vocal talent, including Peter Smith, star of the hit musical Moonlight – The Phil Lynott Enigma.
To close this monumental celebration, former Thin Lizzy keyboardist Darren Wharton and his band Renegade will deliver a powerhouse set of Lizzy’s greatest hits, joined onstage by Eric Bell and other very special guests.
Fans from across the globe are expected to gather in Dublin for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the life, music and enduring legacy of one of Ireland’s most iconic musicians – Philip Lynott.

The celebrations kick off on Saturday night in The Button Factory with a powerhouse line-up of incredible tribute bands. Opening the show is Phil’s Uncle Peter Lynott. Up next will be the incredible Live Lizzy. Headlining the night, all the way from Norway, will be the phenomenal Emerald, a band guaranteed to blow the crowd away.
