Steve Hackett / Expanded Seconds Out tour moves to Autumn 2021

7 July 2020

Originally scheduled for November this year, the Steve Hackett ‘Seconds Out +More’ tour will now start in September 2021, but with an additional eight shows added to the list. The shows will feature the 1977 Genesis live album ‘Seconds Out’ in full, plus other tracks.

‘Seconds Out’ was the massively successful double album recorded on the 1977 Genesis concert tour and featured Hackett on guitar alongside Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks and Phil Collins who had taken on the role of vocalist following the departure of Peter Gabriel.

The ’77 tour featured music from each of the six studio albums from Steve’s time in Genesis and marked his final recordings with the band as he left to pursue his solo career upon its completion.

Steve told MetalTalk: “I hugely look forward to being back on the road in the UK, bringing the whole of Seconds Out back to life! The set features some of the most thrilling Genesis material, this time all numbers played in full, plus additional surprises.”

Steve will be joined by regular musicians Roger King (keyboards), Jonas Reingold (bass), Rob Townsend (saxes/flutes) with Nad Sylvan on vocals. Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson, Pendragon) will be on drums & percussion.

All tickets remain valid for the re-scheduled shows.
