Judas Priest has announced arena shows for spring 2024, calling at Glasgow, Leeds, Dublin, Bournemouth, Birmingham and London. “We are thrilled to start this World Tour in the renowned traditional homes of Heavy Metal,” the band said, “and can’t wait to see our amazing family of Priest maniacs!”
Judas Priest will be joined by “very Metal guests” Saxon and Uriah Heep.
O2 pre-sale tickets are available from 10 am on Wednesday, 3 May.
Live Nation and Venue pre-sales start at 10 am on Thursday, 4 May.
General release is from 10 am, Friday, 5 May.
In November 202, Richie Faulkner, Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton and Scott Travis were joined by Les Binks, K.K. Downing for a three-song medley of You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’, Breaking The Law and Living After Midnight as the band were inducted into the not very Heavy Metal friendly Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Earlier last year, Judas Priest played their much-delayed 50 Heavy Metal Years tour in the USA. “This was one of the baddest rock ‘n’ roll shows I’ve seen all year,” Jody Wilk wrote for MetalTalk. “Powerful is an understatement, and the Priest pairing with QueensrĂżche was a genius move.”
Judas Priest are currently finishing the recording for their follow-up to 2018’s Firepower, which now looks like it will be released early in 2024.
