Dirty Honey, who are making waves in the US already, will cross the pond this June and July for a number of headline dates, festival dates and support slots with KISS, Guns N’ Roses and Rival Sons.
Dirty Honey will release their debut self-titled EP/LP on 20 May 2022, with the first single, When I’m Gone, set for 22 April. An earlier performance video of the song became the first-ever track from an unsigned band to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
“It’s an honour to finally bring our music across the Atlantic,” vocalist Marc LaBelle said. “I’ve always thought we’d be well-received in the UK and Europe, and it just felt right to release both the EP and LP together after having had to wait so long to get there. It really feels like the right time to introduce Europe to our particular brand of Filthy rock n’ roll, and I also can’t wait to bring our live show to European audiences.
Dirty Honey recently played the Young Guns 2022 Tour with Mammoth WVH. Their appearance at Toad’s Place, New Haven, was wonderfully received. MetalTalk’s Shannon Wilk said that with the live energy of The Rolling Stones in their prime and the sound of Aerosmith at their peak, Dirty Honey put on a kick-ass set.
Dirty Honey are covering the main European festivals this summer, including Download and HellFest, and with headline and support slots, there are plenty of options.
“Our maiden voyage across the pond is literally hitting every type of venue,” LaBelle said, “from our own headlining club shows to theatres with Rival Sons and stadiums with Guns N’ Roses and KISS. I can vividly remember busking in Piazza di Santa Croce in Florence, and never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d be playing some of the biggest stadiums in Europe.”
