Global rock icons Deep Purple have announced a one-off return to London’s Royal Albert Hall on 25 November 2026, revisiting the venue where they made history back in 1969. UK rockers Jayler will join the bill for this special night. There are five further dates on the November tour.
Deep Purple’s 1969 appearance at the Royal Albert Hall marked a landmark moment. The band premiered a full classical composition with an orchestra on the famous stage, stretching what Rock could be. Decades on, they are coming back with a full-throttle hard rock and Heavy Metal set loud, fast, and built for a room that has seen it all.

Deep Purple have announced a huge UK headline tour for November 2026, bringing their still-mighty live show to arenas in Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London.
The rock legends, whose riffs helped shape the sound of Heavy Metal as we know it, will be joined on select dates by Mammoth, the powerhouse band led by Wolfgang Van Halen, along with fast-rising UK rockers Jayler.
With a set likely packed with classics such as Smoke On The Water, Highway Star and Child In Time, as well as newer material, this run promises to be a serious celebration of one of rock’s most influential bands.
The tour opens at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on 18 November 2026, before rolling through Glasgow’s OVO Hydro (19 November), Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live Arena (21 November) and Manchester’s AO Arena (22 November), closing with a special London date at the Eventim Apollo on 24 November.
Following the renewed attention sparked by the use of Child In Time in the Stranger Things universe and the band’s ongoing creative form, these shows are set to be some of the hottest tickets of the year.
Fans should move quickly when general tickets go on sale on 21 November 2025 at 10 am via aegpresents.co.uk.

Why This One Matters
With a catalogue that still defines generations, from Smoke On The Water to Highway Star, Deep Purple remain one of the most enduring live bands on the planet. Their 2024 album =1 and the renewed attention around Child In Time have only reinforced that the band are still pushing forward, not coasting.
