The February Dan Reed Network shows with Reckless Love have been moved to later this summer. With the new album Let’s Hear It For The King due in June and a performance scheduled for HRH AOR Festival, Reed has added three new June dates before heading to Hamburg for the album release party.
“As soon as we were made aware that our shows with Reckless Love were going to be rescheduled again,” Dan Reed says, “it became imperative to find a way to get back on the road as soon as possible. We have an album that we know is going to deliver, and we are desperate to get out there and play it live for everyone. We’re delighted that we were able to arrange these headline shows around the album’s release date so we can celebrate that properly with all of you.”
Collateral will join Dan and Reckless Love for the August/September dates. “The ongoing instability caused by the pandemic has made it impossible for Dan Reed Network and Reckless Love to travel to the UK and throughout Europe,” says Dan.
“This decision has not been made lightly,” he said. “We were determined to give these shows as much of a chance of happening as possible however it is now clear that the world is not yet in a secure enough position for us to be confident about traversing countries with shows unaffected by Covid.
“There is the added caveat that when we return to play our first shows in what now will be well over two years, we want to do this in true DRN fashion, and that means freely interacting with those who want to come and hang out with the band post shows. Our live performances are fuelled by our interactions with you all, before, during and after our shows.”
Tickets for the June shows are on sale now. Rescheduled tickets for all shows remain valid.
