Corrosion Of Conformity will release their long-awaited new double album Good God / Baad Man on 3 April 2026 via Nuclear Blast. This album marks a major new chapter for the long-running outfit.
The first preview arrives in the form of lead single Gimme Some Moore, backed by a new video. The track features backing vocals from Al Jourgensen (Ministry) and guest guitar from Monte Pittman. “Me and Woody wanted to write a song as if we were 17 years old again,” Pepper Keenan said. “We even made a seven-inch for it.”
Since 2018’s No Cross No Crown, the band has weathered major changes, including the loss of drummer Reed Mullin in January 2020, before regrouping to write what vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan describes as “a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll.”
The resulting project splits into two distinct halves: Good God leans into the heavier, angrier end of the spectrum, while Baad Man swings toward a more straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll throwdown.
The plan for the next Corrosion Of Conformity album came when guitarist Woody Weatherman joined Pepper at his house. “As we went on, we had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions,” Pepper says. “We knew we had to split it into two different albums. Then we came up with this concept.”
Producer Warren Riker called the album Dark Side Of The Doom. “We used that for the freedom to go in different directions,” Pepper said. “Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”
