Blink-182 Announces World Tour with Tom DeLonge

In one month, punk rockers Blink-182 will take the stage with longtime guitarist and singer Tom DeLonge for the first time in nine years, launching their extensive world tour.

Last October, it was announced that DeLonge had rejoined the band, filling the space that Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba had occupied since the former’s departure in 2014. A new single, Edging, was released on the same day.

The pop-punk trio can be expected to play many hits that span the course of their 30+ year career, some new tracks from their upcoming album (which is set to drop in the imminent future), and hopefully will also break out some older DeLonge-fronted tracks which haven’t been performed in decades.

The classic era Blink-182, consisting of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge, is set to begin their highly anticipated tour on May 4, 2023 in St. Paul, Minnesota and will travel across the country for two months before heading to multiple other continents and bringing the rock global.

The band’s US tour will feature support from Turnstile, one of the most exciting bands to emerge in years, who will be sure to warm up and excite each high-energy evening of one of the biggest and sure-to-be greatest tours of the year.

Be sure to check out Blink-182 in a city near you and follow MetalTalk for more coverage of the Blink-182 tour. Ticket are available from https://www.blink182.com.

The tour announcement also features multiple festival appearances in Latin America and the US, including Lollapalooza alongside co-headliners Billie Eilish and Drake and the 2023 edition of When We Were Young with Green Day, among others.
