After buying a copy of Blue Oyster Cult's Secret Treaties back in the mid-'70s, Tim Bugbee has always had a passion for music and, about 20 years ago, decided to add a camera into the mix.
After writing for a couple of fanzines in the early '90s, Boston-based writer/photographer Tim Bugbee took a hiatus when his kids were born but started covering live shows in 2006 and has not looked back since.
He was a latecomer to the world of Metal when, at the tender age of 40, seeing Boris on the Pink tour opened a new section of his brain. Since then, he has photographed hundreds of shows, from big names like Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and U2 to local bands.
Tom has been on the photo teams of Heavy Metal festivals like Psycho Las Vegas and Desertfest London and NYC and has completed a couple of short tours with Sleep.
A lifelong goal is to get an invite to Duna Jam. If anyone out there reading can make it happen, let's do it!
