Matt Roberts has remained a regular gig goer ever since his first concert, Uriah Heep, at The Liverpool Empire in 1976, aged just 13. Yes, it was 50 years ago.

His biggest claim to fame is that he has seen his favourite band, Iron Maiden, over 100 times, and back in the day was invited on a couple of occasions by none other than Mr Steve Harris to "kip on his hotel room floor".

Whilst residing in the UK, Matt was a reviewer for Powerplay Magazine and was also the founder/DJ of The Metal Pig Rock Club in the City of Chester, which he ran before he left England for a new life in the US of A 18 years ago.

Matt now resides in the City of Long Beach, California. Whilst not listening to music, he is a keen follower of Norwich City FC, much like our Editor Steve. Up The Canaries!
