Rory Gallagher / Band of Friends Livestream show to run this evening

Band of Friends, featuring Gerry McAvoy, Rory’s bass guitarist who played on Rory’s debut album, will perform a live stream event tonight, 9 September, at 6 PM BST featuring songs from Rory’s eponymous 1971 debut album.

The stream will be available from Rory Gallagher’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Featuring five discs, the 50th Anniversary Box Set of Rory’s eponymous 1971 debut album includes a brand-new mix of the original album, 30 previously unreleased outtakes and alternate takes, a six-song 1971 BBC Radio John Peel Sunday Concert, plus four 1971 BBC Radio Sounds of the Seventies session tracks, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
