Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons set to tour new album Kings Of The Asylum

Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons have announced an extensive EU/UK tour for 2023 to support their upcoming third studio album, Kings Of The Asylum. The tour kicks off in Brighton in September before the band head off into mainland Europe, returning for a ten-date run from 21 November.

Joel Peters was announced as the band’s new vocalist in January 2022. Directly after this, they went to Stompbox Studios in South Wales to begin writing and recording Kings Of The Asylum.

“I’ve had great fun working on this album alongside Phil and the boys,” Peters told us. “This is an album I am immensely proud of! I’m looking forward to everyone hearing it and touring these songs for the first time. We’ve got some definite bangers here.”

Phil Campbell, the former Motörhead guitarist of 32 years, said, “It’s been a great experience writing this album alongside Joel and the rest of my lads. We’ve come up with some monstrous riffs and hooks for your listening pleasure. We can’t wait to play some of these songs at some of our old favourite towns and cities and visit some new places too.”

This summer will be the band’s busiest festival season to date, with appearances set to include Wacken Open Air, Hellfest and Graspop Metal Meeting, to name just three.

“Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons are relentless and as committed to tearing the roof off and giving everyone a good time as any band out there,” read the MetalTalk report of one of their recent shows. “It’s a family business, and business is good.”

This recent tour with Michael Monroe and Black Star Riders proved a success, and with the news of more live dates alongside a new album, it’s a mouthwatering future indeed.
