METALTALK TUESDAY ROUNDUP: SCHORR, SKUNK ANANSIE, SACRILEGE, CANDLEMASS.

SARI SCHORR ANNOUNCES HER NEW LIVE ALBUM AND EUROPEAN TOUR

Sari Schorr ‘Live In Europe’ is to be released on 6th March. Recorded on her last tour, there are songs from her first two studio albums, with ‘Black Betty’ and ‘I Just Want To Make Love To You’ the reworked covers she does so well. A European Tour is also imminent – April UK Dates are below.

Sari tells us “The time had come for me to get a bit messy. Too much of my life was becoming cleaned-up in the carefully curated world of social -media where we retouch our faces and bodies and carefully edit our words. Recording a live album was a blunt attempt to fend off the perfectionism of the technological world.”

CANDLEMASS ANNOUNCE EP RELEASE DETAILS AND SHARE BRAND NEW LYRIC VIDEO

Candlemass have announced the release of a masterful new EP, The Pendulum, due out March 27, 2020 via Napalm Records. Cut from never before heard unused tracks from the ‘The Door To Doom’ recording sessions, the title track is here for your enjoyment.

Leif Edling told MetalTalk “The Pendulum is about hard riffing, epic choruses and total delusion the fanatical way. It is in fact the last thing I wrote for ‘The Door To Doom’ album but didn’t have the time to finish it. Here it is in its grand/mad luster with a great mix by Niklas Flyckt and produced by Marcus Jidell. It is followed by 5 unreleased demos from the DTD sessions because the whole sha-bang was at first supposed to be a double effort but got trimmed down to a single album eventually.”
