Foo Fighters / Smashing into 2021 with new track ‘No Son Of Mine’

Foo Fighters smashed into 2021 as they released ‘No Son Of Mine’, the second teaser track from their upcoming tenth album ‘Medicine At Midnight’ which is out 5 February 2021.

The full-on track is built around the chassis of searing Grohl, Smear and Shiflett licks, over a steel-trap-tight Hawkins/Mendel rhythmic frame.

Dave Grohl told us: “This is the kind of song that just resides in all of us and if it makes sense at the time, we let it out,

“Lyrically it is meant to poke at the hypocrisy of self righteous leaders, people that are guilty of committing the crimes they are supposedly against…”

A note from Dave Grohl

Medicine at Midnight is produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters, engineered by Darrell Thorp and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent.

‘No Son Of Mine’ is available to download now with pre-orders placed at foofighters.co/MAM
