Fish has shared his new single ‘Weltschmerz’ today, as he prepares to start his UK tour with tonights concert at The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen.
The title track from his final album, the song toys with the meaning of ‘Weltschmerz’ and its various interpretations, given the direct translation is ‘world pain’. The video is a dark exploration of the songs powerful lyrical content.
As previously reported here, Fish and his band will perform ‘Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors’ in full, alongside songs from the new album and tracks from ‘Script For A Jesters Tear’.
Public gatherings in Scotland are currently restricted, with events of 500 or more people where a police and ambulance presence is required no longer allowed.
However, Fish has confirmed that he and his band are as prepared as they can be and are on route to Aberdeen.
Coronavirus
Covid-19 is a virus, so antibiotics are of no use. The antiviral drugs we have against flu will not work. Recovery depends on the strength of the immune system.
Exercise, good diet, vitamins help your immune system. Wash your hands. Regularly.
The symptoms of coronavirus are:
- a cough
- a high temperature
- shortness of breath
But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.
The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.
