Epica, who celebrate their 20th anniversary with a special live show at Tilburg’s 013 on 3 September, have announced that fans can also watch the event via a professionally shot live stream.
Tickets to attend the show have long been sold out, but the live stream will be a chance to view the whole show, including a one-off performance of Sahara Dust.
“We are extremely happy to be able to share our anniversary,” Coen Janssen said, “not only with the lucky ones who got a ticket but also with everybody else in the world.
“Our loyal fanbase is everywhere around this planet and through this live stream, we can let everyone be part of this party. It wouldn’t be a birthday bash without you.
“So, grab your drinks and warn the neighbours, because this is going to be a noisy night!”
Starting live at 19:30 CEST, the shows will remain online for 72 hours for
fans in different time zones to re-watch in their account at any time within that period.
Early bird tickets are available until August 12th, bundles are available with limited edition merchandise that will only be available with the stream or directly at the anniversary show in Tilburg.
